Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To check any drop in an injection quantity of fuel by feeding a clearance between a fuel injection valve and a housing with fuel, while installing a fuel controlling part, controlling the injection quantity of fuel being sprayed out of a nozzle, in a fuel supply passage proximate to the clearance. CONSTITUTION:When current-energization in a magnet coil 26 of a solenoid actuator 9 is stopped by work of an electronic control circuit, a valve body 8 is situated in a close position by dint of energizing force of a return spring 27, stopping a supply of fuel to an intake pipe. At this time, fuel is constituted so as to flow into a ring clearance 41 at all times, and thereby a member forming a fuel supply passage 44 at the more upstream than the vicinity of a fuel controlling part 20 is forcedly cooled by fuel flowing in the clearance 41. With this constitution, even if it receives the heat directly or indirectly during engine driving, fuel in the passage 44 at the more upstream than the vicinity of the controlling part 20 is thus cooled. In consequence, such a possibility that air bubbles might be generated by heat in the fuel in the passage 44 at the more upstream than the controlling part 20 is thus checked, so that any drop in a fuel injection quantity is suppressed.
