Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To enable continuous display of the seabed configuration by a method wherein the frequency shift amount of a Doppler shift of an acoustic signal due to the movement of a fan beam transmitter-receiver is measured continuously as a frequency shift amount corresponding to the configuration of the seabed for measuring the depth thereof. CONSTITUTION:A fan beam transmission-reception element 2 makes a transmitter 21 operate by a transmission trigger 201 from a control element 4 and amplifies a transmission electric signal by a transmission power amplifier 22. The amplified signal is passed through a transmission-reception switch 23, converted into a prescribed fan-shaped transmission acoustic beam and delivered into the water from a transmitter- receiver 1. A reflected wave from the seabed is received by the transmitter-receiver 1 and outputted by a receiver 24 via the switch 23. A reception signal outputted from the transmission-reception element 2 is supplied to a seabed configuration display element 3. A frequency shift signal 321 corresponding to configuration of the seabed is converted into a level output corresponding to the configuration of the seabed in a frequency/level conversion circuit 33 and supplied to a display unit 36 to be displayed. In this way, the configuration of the seabed can be displayed continuously on the basis of a fan beam transmitted-received wave and a determined information on the configuration of the seabed. |
