Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enable a sufficient volume of fed air to be attained without increasing an opening in its diameter by a method wherein an air feeding passage extending from an outdoor suction port to a communication port of an indoor unit is formed between a sleeve and an outside part of a main body and a damper for use in changing-over between an opened state and a closed state of the communication port is arranged. CONSTITUTION:In case that a surrounding atmosphere is flowed through a surrounding atmosphere intake port 18 as indicated by arrow B, and passes through an air supplying passage 19 to flow through a communication port 20 so as to take the surrounding atmosphere, a damper 16 is kept opened, so that the air is induced from an opening part 15 into an indoor unit 6 by an indoor air blower 12. At this time, the air may flow in without being related to an air passage (indicated by arrow A) within the outdoor unit 5. The induced air is mixed with air flowed from an indoor suction port 11, the air is heated or cooled by an indoor heat exchanger 13 and a part of fresh air is blown out through an indoor blowing port 14 into a room together with conditioned air. In case that it is not necessary to take the surrounding air, the opening 15 is closed by the damper 15. With this arrangement, a sufficient volume of ventilation air can be attained and so it is not necessary to increase an opening in its diameter.
