SLIDE DOOR FOR CAR

PURPOSE:To prevent doors from interfering with each other even through a slide door is opened with a back door open midway, by restricting the slide amount by a stopper so that the tail of the slide door when opened does not protrude from the rear end of the car body. CONSTITUTION:Besides a door lock inside handle 13, an aux. inside handle 12 is furnished below the front of the rear surface of a slide door 2, and when the slide door 2 is closed, it is positioned concealed under an instrument panel 14. The bottom tail of this handle 12 is extended backward to form an L-shape, and at the rear face of this extension part a stopper 15 is fitted which is formed from a resilient substance such as rubber. This stopper 15 is detained with the side wall 1a of the getting on-off hole so as to restrain the opening amount of the slide door 2 so that the tail of the door 2 does not protrude from the tail of the car body. When the door 2 is opened in this arrangement, the stopper 15 is detained with the side wall 1a of the getting on/off hole, and the amount of opening of the door 2 is restricted. Accordingly the door 2 stops in the position not protruding from the tail of the car body 1.
