METHOD FOR SELECTING OBJECT FOR SCREEN INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To select a parts as an editing object even when the parts is overlapped and hidden by selecting the object of the parts even in a hierarchical relational chart displayed on a screen by a multiwindow function. CONSTITUTION:The device is equipped with a parts data holding part 10, preparation screen display processing part 11, a hierarchical relational chart display processing part 12, a preparation screen selected parts decision processing part 13, a preparation relational chart selected parts decision processing part 14, a display driver 15, and a mouse input control part 16. The hierarchical relational chart to indicate the overlap relation between the parts of a screen forming element displayed on the screen of a display device 2 is displayed on the screen under an overlapped state by the multiwindow function, and the object of the parts of the screen forming element can be selected even in the hierarchical relational chart displayed on the screen. Thus, even the parts overlapped and hidden can be always selected.
