SLIP SORT CONTROL METHOD AND DATA PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To sort slip data in units of plural lines by detecting a ruled line to separate the slip data, and making the data in a zone separated by means of the ruled line into a unit, which is movable at the time of rearrangement. CONSTITUTION:A ruled line table, which stores information necessary for the input and editing of the ruled line, holds the type of the ruled line inputted as ruled line information, a line direction, attribute information indicating a line width, a starting line position, a starting column position, a completing line position and a completing column position. When the sort unit consists of plural lines, the moving unit is deduced from the contents of the ruled line table, a starting line number 303, a completing line number 304, and the number of constituting lines 307 at each moving unit are stored into a moved block table 300, and the storage position is stored into a moved block control table 200. Next, key data at every moving unit are segmented, and a sort processing is executed based on the obtained key data. Thus, the moving unit at every key is automatically detected based on the ruled line, and the sorting in units of the plural lines can be executed.
