PLATING DEVICE AND ITS HANGER TRANSFER MECHANISM

PURPOSE:To efficiently plate plural kinds of materials by intermittently transferring many hangers supporting works onto plural treating tanks, and further moving the work along the hanger to lead the work to the desired treating tank. CONSTITUTION:The works W are supplied to the supporters 16 of the plural hangers 2 provided to the chained hanger transfer mechanism 1 at a loading position, and intermittently transferred with a constant tact time. The works W are specifically plated in many treating tanks 3-8. Plural tanks 3a, 3b, 3,... are arranged at the necessary parts of the plating line at right angles to the transfer direction of the hanger 2 as shown by the arrow. The hanger 2 is fixed to a truck 11 lifting up and down on the intermittently transferred carrier 10 so that the hanger 2 is horizontally extended above the treating tanks 3a,... The supporter 16 can be moved along the hanger 2 at the upper position by a work moving mechanism 9. By this method, the works W are optionally treated with the tact time for each changer 2, the entire treating time is reduced, and the device is made compact.
