PICTURE RECORDER

PURPOSE:To enhance recording picture quality by providing an electrode away from a recording medium on a box-like wall downstream of a blade and a magnetic field generating means applying the magnetostastic field action to the electrode near the electrode. CONSTITUTION:The recorder uses magnetic toner with conductivity, and a toner applying electrode 83 arranged slightly away from the recording medium 3 and a permanent magnet 82 applying the magnetic field action to the applying electrode 83 are used as a member guiding the toner scraped away by a cleaning blade 81 to a box. Since the recording medium 3 and the applying electrode 83 serving as a sealant are arranged at an interval, the toner never falls on an external transfer body to maintain a satisfactory recording picture quality. Moreover, the soiling of toner inside the recorder is reduced to enhance user's operability.
