Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To improve not only flowability but the rise of electrostatic charge as well by incorporating fine nonmagnetic inorg. particles treated with metal alkoxide into the toner. CONSTITUTION:The toner contains at least the fine nonmagnetic inorg. particles treated with the metal alkoxide expressed by the formula I. In the formula, M denotes a metal ion; R denotes a lower alkyl group; n denotes the oxidation number of the metal ion. The fine nonmagnetic inorg. particles are used by being externally added to the toner and the amt. of the particles to be added is 0.01 to 5wt.% of the toner. There is no effect of adding the fine nonmagnetic inorg. particles if the amt. of the particles to be added is less than 0.01wt.%. Toner splashing increases and ground fogging arises if the amt. exceeds 5wt.%. Namely, the toner is improved in the flowability and the electrostatic characteristics, such as rise of electrostatic charge, if the fine nonmagnetic inorg. particles treated with the metal alkoxide are added to the toner. |
