Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: To reduce finishing and recondition works in a manufacture in an assembly line to a minimum by heating the surfaces of particular polyisocyanate polyaddition products to a particular temperature, performing softening and leveling on microscopic surface structures, and simultaneously or subsequently applying external pressure to the surfaces optionally. CONSTITUTION: During a closing mold, a compound having a molecular weight of 401 to about 20000 of an organic polyisocyanate and containing 2 to 8 isocyanate reactive groups is reacted with a compound having the molecular weight of 60 to 400 and containing 2 to 8 isocyanate reactive groups. The surfaces to be modified of moulded articles manufactured by a polyisocyanate polyaddition method are heated to at least 80 deg.C to perform softening and leveling on microscopic surface structures and optionally external pressure are substantially or subsequently applied. The moulded articles are solid elastomers or fine porous elastomers having a total density of 0.7 g/cm or more, preferably about 1.0-1.3 g/cm . |
