Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain the title Cu alloy having excellent strength, electrical conductivity and migration resistance by adding specific amounts of Ni, Si, Zn and Mg and one or more kinds among Cr, Ti and Zr to Cu. CONSTITUTION:An ingot of a Cu alloy contg., by weight, 0.4 to 4.0% Ni, 0.1 to 1.0% Si, >1.0 to 5.0% Zn, 0.05 to 0.5% Mg and 0.001 to =600 deg.C at >=15 deg.C/sec cooling speed, is thereafter subjected to cold working at >=30% working rate and is successively annealed at 400 to 550 deg.C. The Cu alloy having excellent stress corrosion cracking resistance, strength, electrical conductivity and migration resistance and suitable to a terminal, a connector or the like for electrical and electronic equipments can be manufactured.
