UNKNOWN WORD REGISTER SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To easily and quickly register an unknown word and corresponding additional information by using additional information of a standard word already existing in a word dictionary to obtain additional information of the unknown word to be registered. CONSTITUTION:An equal additional information word designating means 4 designates a standard word having additional information equal to that corresponding to the unknown word designated by an unknown word designating means 3, and a word retrieving means 5 retrieves the designated standard word in a first word dictionary 1, and additional information corresponding to this standard word is obtained, and this additional information is registered in a second word dictionary 2 together with the designated unknown word by an unknown word register means 6. Thus, the unknown word is easily and quickly registered in the word dictionary together with its corresponding additional information without register's direct selection and decision of additional information of the unknown word.
