CAPACITOR ARRAY AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:To reduce a cost and to lower a capacitance per unit area by a method wherein low-permittivity phases are arranged like a grid, high- permittivity phases are arranged inside grid-like squares, a common electrode is faced on the whole rear and a plurality of electrodes are formed on the surface. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor substrate 3 where high-permittivity phases 2 are arranged inside squares of grid-like low-permittivity phases 1 is formed. Then, a silver paste is printed on the whole rear of the capacitor substrate 3; it is put together by baking; a common electrode 4 is formed. The silver paste is printed on the surface of the capacitor substrate 3 and at least on the surface of the high-permittivity phases 2; it is put together by baking; surface electrodes 5 are formed. Regarding the performance of a capacitor array manufactured in this manner, a cross capacitance generated between adjacent capacitors is small so as not to cause a problem in a circuit although a capacitance per capacitor is large.
