Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To shorten the charging time of a battery and increase the charge/ discharge electric capacity by forming the battery with an electrode plate group spirally wound with a positive electrode and a negative electrode via a separator and an organic electrolyte and sticking lithium on both faces of a metal thin film as the negative electrode. CONSTITUTION:A battery is constituted of an electrode plate group spirally wound with a positive electrode 1 and a negative electrode 3 stuck with lithium on both faces of a metal thin film not reacted with lithium via a separator 2 and an organic electrolyte. The metal thin film stuck with lithium on both faces is used as the negative electrode 3. Both surface and rear portions of the lithium negative electrode 3 are located at the uniform distance from the metal thin film which is a current collector, the occurrence of dendrites due to the electric resistance difference caused by the delicate difference of the distance from the current collector when the battery is charged is prevented, and a lithium secondary battery with an excellent charge/discharge cycle life is obtained.
