SELF-PROPELLING PILE GUIDE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve pile driving efficiency by providing an endless track reciprocative on the head of a driven pile, providing a chuck device pinching a pile, and providing a lock device biting into a gap between driven piles. CONSTITUTION:A pile guide device 1 is mounted on the head of an existing pile, then the rod 6b of the vertical hydraulic cylinder 6a of a lock device 6 is extended, and a wedge section 6c is bitten between piles 10. The rod of the horizontal hydraulic cylinder of a chuck device is extended, the flat plate 8c at the tip of the rod is brought into contact with the outer periphery of the pile 10 to pinch the pile 10. After a pile 11 is driven on the water bottom along a pile guide 2, the vertical cylinder 6a and the horizontal cylinder are shrunk to release the fixing of the pile guide device 1. An endless track 5d is driven by a hydraulic motor 5c via a sprocket 5b, and the pile guide device 1 is moved by the diameter of the pile. The pile guide device 1 is fixed on the head of the pile, then the similar driving work is repeated.
