HAIR DYE

PURPOSE:To obtain a hair dye, capable of toning freely to some extent and usable even for persons susceptible to sensitization by using a natural pigment as a hair dye ingredient. CONSTITUTION:A hair dye obtained by blending (A) a berberine-based pigment (yellow pigment and yellowish brown in the case of an iron salt) with (B) a curcumin-based pigment (bright red under alkaline conditions and yellow under acidic conditions), (C) an azulene-based pigment (blue), (D) a crocin-based pigment (scarlet), (E) a betanin-based pigment (purplish red), (F) a blend of hinokitiol with an iron compound (reddish brown), (G) an extract of Areca catechu or areca nut tannin (reddish black resembling natural color of human hair), (H) catechol and iron-containing compound, (I) quercetin and iron- containing compound (dark brown with natural feeling) and (J) rutin and an iron-containing compound (dark brown with natural feeling).
