Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To simplify the production of a robot teaching program by adding a data correcting function which changes the locus data on the robot hand tip points to a computer together with a function which produces the teaching program based on the correction data of the data correcting function. CONSTITUTION:A character picture output device 1A, a floppy disk device 7, and a coordinate input device 4 are connected to a computer 2 based on the teaching program of a robot 8. The computer 2 contains a data correcting function to change the locus data on the finger tip points xi, yi and zi of the robot 8 which are divided into two parts at a section centering around the section based on the correction data showing the difference of sizes between a basic work W and a work to be newly obtained. Furthermore a teaching program producing function is added to the computer 2 to reproduce the robot 8 based on the corrected locus data on the robot hand tip points. Thus the teaching program on a similar work is automatically produced based on the teaching program of the basic work.
