Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To improve electrostatic charge retentivity by using specified oxytitanium phthalocyanine as the effective component of an electric charge generating agent and incorporating specified compds. as electric charge transferring agents. CONSTITUTION:Crystals of an oxytitanium phthalocyanine compd. represented by formula I is used as the effective component of an electric charge generating agent. The compd. has the max. 9.7 deg. diffraction peak at 27.2 deg. Bragg angle (2theta+ or -0.2 deg.) and an intense diffraction peak at 24.1 deg. when the X-ray diffraction spectrum is measured with Kalpha of Cu as a beam source. A hydrazone compd. represented by formula II and a compd. represented by formula III are used as electric charge transferring agents. In the formula I, X1-X4 are various halogen atoms and each of m, n, l and k is a number of 1-4. In the formula II, R1 is H, alkyl, etc., R2 is H or alkyl and R3 and R4 may form a ring such as pyridyl. In the formula III, A is an electron donative group such as dimethylamino, a is H, alkyl, etc., and each of R1 and R2 is H, alkyl, etc. Improved electrostatic charge retentivity is obtd. |
