Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent dew droplets from being formed on the lower part of a side wall of the title showcase by providing an air-flow direction plate so that cold air to be supplied through a cold air outlet port is directed and guided upward, and by defining a heat insulation space which causes no convection, between the outer and side walls of the air-flow direction plate. CONSTITUTION:A hollow-shaped air-flow direction plate 20 consists of an inner wall 21 which prevents supply cold air blown through a cold air outlet port 18 and an auxiliary cold air outlet port 18A, respectively, from being joined together immediately after being blown therethrough, an outer wall 22 which prevents the supply cold air from being contacted with a side wall 13 immediately after being blown through the cold air outlet port 18, and a cold air passage 24 provided between the inner and outer walls 21 and 22. By inserting the lower part of the air-flow direction plate 20 into the cold air outlet port 18 and the auxiliary cold air outlet port 18A, the air-flow direction plate 20 is seated on a frame part 17 and supported on a partition plate 23, thereby defining a heat insulation space 25 having a width of 1 to 3mm, which causes no convection between the outer wall 22 and the side wall 13. Thus, the formation of dew droplets on the lower surface of a side wall 3 is avoidable and, in addition, a heat loss of the cold air supplied through the lower part of the side wall 13 can be prevented. Further, since the height of the air-flow direction plate 20 is higher than the distance of a core region in which the initial speed of the supply cold air is maintained, the so-called Coanda effect that the supply cold air adheres to the side wall 13 can be prevented.
