RECORDING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To use an almost whole quantity of a recording material without controlling the moving direction of the recording material by providing a recording head having a recording light source and a photoconductive film on a rotary magnetic roll. CONSTITUTION:A recording head 1 having a light emitting part 1-1 (e.g., an LED array formed on a GaAs crystal) emitting light at the time of recording, a transparent conductive film 1-4 (e.g., iTO) permitting emitted light to transmit and a photoconductive film 1-5 (e.g., CdS) receiving the above mentioned light to show conductivity is placed on a magnetic roll 3 for directly recirculating and moving a recording material 6 such as toner. By this constitution, the toner is charged through a part becoming a conductor by light and moved in the direction of an opposed electrode 2 by electrostatic force to be adhered to a recording medium (recording paper 7).
