METHOD FOR OPERATING BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE:To prevent local damage of furnace wall and local sticking to the wall by matching position, where furnace gas in blast furnace flows at the easiest, with the center of the blast furnace and uniformizing the furnace wall temp. in the circular direction. CONSTITUTION:Based on measured temp. data of diameter horizontal sonde set at furnace top part in the blast furnace, the position, where the furnace gas in the blast furnace flows at the easiest to circular direction, is calculated and by this, the deviation of the furnace gas flow in the circular direction is obtd. Successively, based on the deviation in the circular direction, the dropping action of charging materials in the furnace on a small bell from a furnace top swinging chute is varied, and the furnace center and the position, where the furnace gas flows at the easiest, are matched to make charging materials good dropping condition. By this method, the furnace wall temp. can be uniformized in the circular direction and stable operation in the blast furnace can be executed.
