Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To form a separately packed high-bulk-density granular detergent having good solubility and capable of imparting softness to a washed object by packing a mixture of detergent particles of high bulk density and specified coated cationic particles at a specified ratio in a water-insoluble porous film. CONSTITUTION:The title detergent is formed by packing the following component A and B at a weight ratio of 99:1 to 9:1 in a water-insoluble porous film: detergent particles (A) having a bulk density of 0.5-1.2g/cc; and cationic particles (B) prepared by coating the particles of a cationic surface active agent of formula I with a polymer substantially insoluble in an aqueous solution above pH9.5 and soluble below pH8.5. In formula I, R1 and R2 are each 12-26C alkyl; R3 and R4 are each 1-4C alkyl, benzyl, 2-4C hydroxyalkyl or polyoxyalkylene; and X is halogen, CH3SO4, C2H5SO4, 1/2SO4 or of formula II.
