Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a deoxidant not being restricted by handling time by storing an oxygen absorbing material composition in an air-permeable beltlike open cell cellular material and further peelably laminating and bonding an air- nonpermeable material to the air-permeable face of the open cell cellular material. CONSTITUTION:A porous polyethylene is laminated to paper subjected to water- resisting treatment and/or oil-resisting treatment to give an air-permeable material, etc., from which air-permeable bags are formed. The plural air-permeable bags are continued in a beltlike state to form an air-permeable beltlike open cell cellular material. Then, the air-permeable beltlike open cell cellular material is stored in an oxygen absorbing material composition 5, further an air- nonpermeable material 1 such as polyester is peelably laminated and bonded to an air permeable face 3 of the beltlike open cell cellular material to give a deoxidant which has no consumption of oxygen absorbing material till just before use, is not restricted by handling time and effective uses an automatic feeder.
