Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a feeling of narrow width of a metallic frame and to increase the continuity of an image by increasing the area of liquid crystal display elements adjoining to the metallic frame. CONSTITUTION:Many liquid crystal display elements 8 are arranged on the same plane to form a large screen, which is held by the metallic frame 14 to constitute the large-sized liquid crystal display. Dots 12 adjoining to at least one side among dots adjoining to the metallic frame 14 are made larger in area than other dots 13. Consequently, the frame width of a non-display part looks thin because the quantity of light from the periphery of the frame is large, and the continuity of the image is improved.
