RECORDING METHOD FOR INK JET PRINTER

PURPOSE:To eliminate the deviation of a recording position and to freshly print and record by selectively heating ink in the pore of a recording medium to form one pixel with a plurality of ink droplets by one record signal, so moving the medium as to avoid lap printing, and controlling recording density. CONSTITUTION:Fig. (a) shows the state of an ink droplet 10 recorded as one printing on a recording sheet, one pixel is expressed in a heating element 3, and one pixel is formed of a plurality of dots. The arraying direction of pores 2y of a film 2 is inclined with respect to a film moving direction. Fig. (b) shows a gradation expression by repeatedly printing as second printing, the film 2 is so fed that the ink droplets 10 are not superposed at first and second printings. In this case, the sheet is not moved, second printing is conducted on the same area as that of the first printing. Similarly, third, fourth printings are conducted. Thus, the deviation of recording positions and variation in the size of the pixels are eliminated, and a fresh gradation recording is performed without complicated recording signal.
