CONTACT MEMBER FOR ELECTRIC CONDUCTOR

PURPOSE: To facilitate the manufacture by forming a conductive contact block, which includes a contact groove, of the insulating material, and forming a metallized surface in the conductive contact block. CONSTITUTION: A contact member for cable wire of a remote control system has two conductive contact blocks 4, which include a contact groove 3 between them, and these contact blocks are made of the insulating material 5, and while formed with a metallized surface 6. The insulating material part 5 is formed with a block-like projection 7, and a V-shaped contact groove 3 is formed between the projections 7, and a bottom part of the contact groove 3 is formed flat. A side surface of the V-shaped contact groove 3 and an adjacent part of the projection 7 are formed with a metallized surface 6 forming a contact block 4. The metallized surface 6 is formed by performing vapor deposition or electrolytic deposition to a conductive metal material. A contact member 1 for conductor can be thereby manufactured at a low cost.
