SIDE STAND SWITCH

PURPOSE:To enhance mechanical strength and operational accuracy of a switch by slidably holding both ends of a shaft by means of the guide holes of a case, and axially sliding the shaft so as to open/close the contact of the switch. CONSTITUTION:Guide holes 1c and 1d are formed on both ends of a case 1, and a shaft 2 and a plunger 4 slide through the holes 1c and 1d. The contact point of a switch is covered with a waterproofing sheet 7 and a terminal base 8. A tongue is provided around the terminal base 8 so as to be fitted into a groove disposed around the inner wall of the opening of the case 1. The bent portion of a contact 10 is fixed to the projection 8a of the terminal base 8 in a mutual contact state, and this, the curved portion thereof at the other end is slidably constituted. This facilitates assembly and reduces the number of processes, thereby enhancing assembling workability and slidability and preventing any adverse influence caused by vibration or impact.
