Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a radar equipment more excellent in distance resolving power without widening the frequency band width of a transmission wave by multiplying a radar receiving signal by N to compress a pulse. CONSTITUTION:In a radar equipment, the signal modulated by a modulator 1 is amplified by a transmitter 2 to be emitted as a radio wave from an antenna 3 through a duplexer 4. The emitted receiving signal is reflected by a reflecting body to be again returned to the antenna 3. This reflected signal is reflected by the reflecting body to be againreturned to the antenna 3. This reflected signal goes to a receiver by the duplexer 4 and is converted to intermediate frequency by a mixer 5 and a local oscillator 6 to be amplified by an intermedi ate frequency amplifier 7. For example, said signal is multiplied by N by an N-multiplier 8 next to the intermediate frequency amplifier. As a result, the frequency band width of the signal becomes N-times as compared with that before multiplication. At this time, when the pulse compression filter 9 adapted to the signal obtained by multiplying a transmission signal by N is used to perform pulse compression, the pulse compression becomes N-times and, when a pulse is detected by a detector 10, high distance resolving power is shown.
