PILE CLOTH FOR LITHOGRAPHIC DAMPENING ROLLER AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE:To improve a quality, obtain resistance to stain and high durability, and stabilize shrink characteristics by a method wherein a pile cloth configuration is woven by a KANOKO stitch, a long-fiber finished yarn of a synthetic fiber is used as a core yarn, a polyvinyl alcohol fiber is used as a rubber yarn, and a long-fiber of a regenerated fiber having a modified cross section is used by a specific amount or more as a pile yarn. CONSTITUTION:The title pile cloth for lithographic dampening roller is constructed as follows: a KANOKO stitch is used as a pile fabric configuration; as a core yarn 1, a finished yarn of nylon long-fiber, polybutylene terephthalate long-fiber, polyester long-fiber, or the like is used for holding a bulking power and a strength; as a rubber yarn 2, a polyvinyl alcohol fiber shrinking by cold or warm water is used; and as a pile yarn 3, a bemberg or viscose rayon long-fiber having hydrophilic properties and a flatness of 1:8 is contained in the amount of 30% or more. This is loaded on a dampening roller as a pile cloth for lithographic dampening roller. This pile cloth can perfectly adhere to the dampening roller by lukewarm water and uniformly hold a stability with superior durability and resistance to stain. If it is stained, the stain can be easily washed off by cold or warm water.
