INFRARED REMOTE CONTROL WALL SWITCH

PURPOSE:To obtain a general purpose Auto/Man switch by constituting a switch from a Y-form circuit which works through infrared remote control and a manual switch. CONSTITUTION:A transmitter 6 of a local operating section makes a signal generating circuit drive an infrared LED by operating a button to emit pulsed infrared rays. A reception-control section 2 makes photoelectric conversion to perform amplification, detection and waveform shaping to process a signal and drive a keep relay 1. When a predetermined pulse array agree with a pulse array of an input signal after waveform shaping, the keep relay 1 is driven. The relay 1 is shifted from a contact A1 to a contact A2 by drive pulses, and returned to A1 by one pulse. Contacts B4, B3 are shifted by a manual switch 3, and a Y-form circuit is constituted of the keep relay 1 and the manual switch 3, and a lighting lamp 4 is selectively turned on and off.
