METHOD OF FITTING DECORATIVE PIECE TO CLIP FOR WRITING IMPLEMENT

PURPOSE:To enable a decorative piece to be fitted reliably and easily to each of clips for writing implements comprising various blank materials by a method wherein an elongatable part of a decorative piece comprising an elastic blank material is passed through a slit through which a fitting hole communicates with the exterior, the decorative piece is inserted into the fitting holes, and the piece is fitted in the fitting hole. CONSTITUTION:To fit a decorative piece 1 comprising, for example, a silicone rubber to a clip, a decorative part 1a and a fastening part 1b are gripped, and are pulled in the longitudinal direction to elongate an elongatable part 1c. The elongatable part 1c in this constitution is passed through a slit 1b, and the outward pulling forces are removed, upon which the decorative piece 1 is fitted into a fitting hole 2a under the recoil strength of the elongatable part 1c.
