CHAMBER TYPE DOCTOR

PURPOSE: To avoid a regulating operation for a doctor blade by providing an ink chamber closed at all sides except an ink inlet opening and an ink outlet opening, and rigidly inserting the blade into the chamber. CONSTITUTION: Doctor blades 7, 8 are rigidly inserted into grooves 5, 6 provided at a substrate 3. And, the blades are brought into contact with an anilox roller 9 in an operating state of the doctors. In this case, at the time of already manufacturing the doctors, a distance between the front edges of the blades 7, 8 and a rear contact surface 10 of the substrate 3 and parallelism between the front edge of the blade and the contact surface can be obtained. The substrate 3, the sidewall 4 and the blades 7, 8 limit the chamber 1 except an ink outlet opening 11 disposed between the blades 7, 8 and the wall 4 and an ink inlet opening 12 passing through the rear wall of the substrate 3.
