MAGNETIC BUBBLE MEMORY DEVICE

PURPOSE:To use a magnetic bubble memory device immediately after erasing by temporarily saving and storing defective loop data in accordance with an erase instruction and erasing all contents of the bubble memory device thereafter and writing stored data again. CONSTITUTION:Defective loop data is saved and stored from a bubble memory device 3 to a temporary saving and storage means 21 for defective loop data of a bubble memory control system 2 in accordance with the erase instruction from a host computer 1. Next, all contents of the device 3 are erased by an erasing means 22, and stored contents of the means 21 are written in the device 3 by a defective loop data writing means 23. Consequently, the magnetic bubble memory device can be used immediately after erasing.
