PHYSIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE PEPTIDE PREPARATION FOR NASOTRACHEAL

PURPOSE:To obtain the title preparation having excellent safety and stability of preparation, capable of sufficiently absorbing medicinal components from nares containing a water-soluble organic acid as an absorption promoter. CONSTITUTION:The title preparation containing (A) 0.005-20wt.% physiologically active peptide, preferably peptide (e.g. calcitonins, parathyroid hormones or insulins) having 1,000-10,000 molecular weight, (B) 0.05-99.995wt.% water-soluble organic acid such as succinic acid, citric acid, L-glutamic acid or glucuronic acid and, if necessary, (C) 0.05-99.5wt.% extender such as saccharides, dextrins or amino acids.
