Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To enable a side glenoidal cavity to be usable as a support part for a ball joint, by covering an area which is not surrounded by a support ring of a side glenoidal cavity and forming the outer shape into a spherical shape of a closed hemispherical or spherical cap shape. CONSTITUTION: A support ring 1 is made of titanium and used to accept a plastic glenoidal cavity 2 to form a joint support part. A ring shaped protruding part 2' equipped on the inner wall forms the support part to hold the glenoidal cavity. A gap 8 with width of about 0.5mm esixts between a cover cap 7 and the support ring 1, and its contractible bonding compensates the deformation of the support ring on screwing into the glenoidal cavity. The outer surface of the cover cap 7 has a porous layer which is made by sintering pure titanium by an isostatic heating method under high pressure. On the tip of the inner glenoidal cavity 2, the cross-sectional area of the cover cap 7 is hollowed and the outer surface of the support ring 1 and the cap 7 are formed into a spherical shape.
