Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To take a countermeasure for the abnormal output of an angular speed sensor immediately by comparing the output value of the angular speed sensor which is obtained under the specified conditions when a vehicle is normally running with an output value which is registered beforehand, and judging whether the output of the angular speed sensor is abnormal or not. CONSTITUTION:The output value (omegas) of an angular speed sensor which is obtained when a vehicle runs at a constant speed (v) and at a specified steering angle theta in a test is registered beforehand. The output value omega of the angular speed sensor 1 which is obtained when the vehicle normally runs at the constant speed (v) and at the specified steering angle theta is compared with the output value omegas which is registered beforehand. When difference occurs between both values, it is judged that the output of the angular sensor is abnormal, and a warning device 5 is operated.
