Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To manufacture a usable testing tool by containing glucose derivative for generating glucose by hydrolysis in a carrier matrix that contains a test composition with a reactivity for glucose. CONSTITUTION: A usable testing tool can be manufactured in three types of forms according to a region where glucose derivative is contained, the concentration of the glucose derivative, and the composition and number of glucose derivatives contained in a matrix used for a single testing tool. The usability of a testing composition can be indicated by the usability testing tool by a detectable response to be generated when an apparatus is wetted by an arbitrary water-based liquid that does not contain water or glucose.
