Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the subject preparation useful for sterilization and disinfection of food, machine for preparing food or vessel for receiving food, etc., having excellent sterilizing power containing ethyl alcohol and specific amount of epsilon-polylysine (salt). CONSTITUTION:The aimed preparation is obtained by containing 20-99.99V/V%, preferably 50-75V/V% ethyl alcohol and 0.01-5W/V%, preferably 0.05-2W/V% epsilon-polylysine (salt). Besides, in a case of applying to food itself, preferably 0.2-5wt.% is mixed in the food and in a case of applying to machine, etc., preferably 0.05-1ml to 10cm of the surface of objecting material to be treated.
