LAYER BUILT CELL

PURPOSE:To prevent the contact and short circuit between vertically adjacent layer battery units by forming a drawing part for preventing the lateral movement every battery unit in an ion blocking electrode. CONSTITUTION:Ion blocking electrodes 12 subjected to a drawing work by difference in grade for preventing the dispositions of layer tablets 4-6 are put in a battery vessel. Then, the layer tablets 4-6 are put on the ion blocking electrodes 12. The second and following tablets are put in such a manner as to be faced to the ion blocking electrode 12 on the face of the pole different from that of the face contact with the ion blocking electrode 12 of the previously put tablet. Hence, the ion blocking electrodes 12 prevent the ion movement between the layer battery units and also the lateral movement within the cell of the layer battery units to prevent their contact with the battery vessel inner wall.
