Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To make wiring inter-neuron models unnecessary and to configure an arbitrary network in optical communication by using the optical neuron model which enhances oscillation when reception light frequency or light emitting or light receiving timing coincides. CONSTITUTION:A frequency variable LD type associated transmission part 14 performs scan up to light frequencies f1-fx, and when it coincides with the reception light frequency in a certain range, the oscillation is enhanced at the range, and the oscillation at the frequency where noncoincidence is obtained is weakened. Therefore, the variable LD part 14 outputs light having the strength of the oscillation up to the light frequencies f1-fx to another neuro chip as first light output 6 time-divisionally. Thereby, in the neural network, the frequencies f1-fx in an optical network from the optical neuron model at a front stage to the optical neuron model at a rear stage are multiplexed in time division and outputted. Then, each frequency f1 can respond to an associated item in each neuron model.
