WATERPROOFING BY USE OF THIN STONE PLATE WITH NON-VULCANIZED BUTYL LINING

PURPOSE:To contrive simplified work process by placing a thin stone plate, backed by non-vulcanized rubber lining, over either a waterproof sheet layer or a waterproof film layer respectively formed on a backing material. CONSTITUTION:Lining is made by sticking a sheet-shaped non-vulcanized butyl rubber layer 2 to a thin plate 1 made from natural stone. A waterproof sheet 3 is made by sticking synthetic macromolecular roofing, made either from vulcanized rubber, non-vulcanized rubber or synthetic resin, to mortar backing member 5. A waterproof film layer 4 may be made from any of urethane, acrylic, chloroprene or rubber asphalt materials and coating is made over the waterproof backing member 6 by brushing, spraying or the like. Then, either the mortar backing 5 or the waterproof backing 6 is finished over the backing 7, and either the waterproof sheet 3 or the waterproof film layer 4 is further finished thereon. Then, the thin stone plate 1 with lining by butyl rubber 2 is placed thereon for overall finish.
