APPARATUS FOR TESTING ACTUATING PRESSURE OF SAFETY VALVE

PURPOSE:To save man-hours and to improve detecting accuracy by providing a means: wherein a solenoid valve is closed when the change in hydraulic pressure due to the operation of a safety valve is detected with a hydraulic transducer, the detected values of a load cell and a pressure transducer are recorded, and the actuating pressure of the safety valve is computed. CONSTITUTION:When a solenoid valve 18 is opened and oil is supplied to a hydraulic jack 16, the jack 16 is actuated, and a valve rod 3 is lifted. When a safety valve 2 is actuated, the actuation is detected with a hydraulic transducer 17. Thereafter, the solenoid valve 18 is closed by the signal from a computer 22. The signal of the load from a load cell 15 and the signal from a pressure transducer 19 at a pipe 1 are converted in a sensor amplifier relay 21 and recorded. In the computer 22, the safety-valve actuating pressure at the time of the highest-pressure use of the pipe 1 is obtained from the load on the load cell 15 and the pressure in the pipe 1 on the basis of the data base that is built in beforehand. The pressure is outputted to a CRT and a printer 24.
