DRYER HAVING FLOOR PLATE MOVABLE UP AND DOWN

PURPOSE:To prevent the outdoor low-temp. air from being introduced into a drying chamber by convection even when a floor plate is lowered by raising the floor plate with an elevator and allowing this floor plate to abut against the drying chamber and forming the bottom face of the drying chamber. CONSTITUTION:A drying chamber 1 opened in the bottom face is fixed in the air by the struts 2 provided on a floor. An floor plate 3 support by a freely contractable elevator 7 is provided on the floor of the vertical lower part of this drying chamber 1. This floor plate 3 is allowed to abut against the drying chamber 1 by raising the floor plate 3 with the elevator 7 and the bottom face of the drying chamber 1 is formed of the floor plate 3. In other words, even when the floor plate 3 is lowered and interruption of both the inside of the drying chamber 1 and the outside of the chamber is eliminated, the outdoor low-temp. air is not introduced into the chamber by convection. Therefore the temp. in the chamber is held constant and heat loss due to temp. drop can be prevented. As a result, the time for temp. recovery is made unnecessary and the time necessary for drying can be drastically shortened.
