METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTING FINE GROUND OCCURRING SECTION

PURPOSE:To detect a fine earth occurring section securely by providing each division point with a branch station having a directional earth detector for detecting a fine earth and by collecting the information of said branch station to a master station. CONSTITUTION:The load side of the manual force section switch SS0 of a first section L1 is provided with a zero-phase current transformer ZCT0, an operation transformer PT0 for control power supply, and a zero-phase voltage sensor ZPD0 to input signals of said devices to a master station P1. A control relay RYi and a fine earth detection branch station Ki are respectively attached to an automatic section switch SSi, and an operation transformer PTi for control power supply is provided on the power supply side of said section switch SSi and a zero-phase current transformer ZCTi and a zero-phase voltage sensor ZPDi, on the load side to input signals of said devices to said branch station Ki to input the information of each branch station to a master station P1. The information of said master station P1 is collected and information-processed at the main master station P0 provided in common to all banks so that a fine earth occurring section may be specified.
