PURPOSE:To contrive an improvement in productivity by eliminating a gap and a stepped part from a joined part, by a method wherein a divided fairing of a motorcycle is vacuum-molded and a backing material connected with a connected part between divided parts by protruding one side of the backing material is connected with the connected part between the other divided parts. CONSTITUTION:A plateform backing material 26 is sticked to the back side of a connecting part 25 of one side divided part 24a by applying an adhesive so as to protrude a half of the backing material and a necessary part 27 is welded by supersonic waves. Then, positioning is made by butting an end face 28a of a connecting part 28 of the other divided part 24b to one side connecting part 25a through the backing material 26, the backing material 26 and the connected part 28 are sticked together by applying the adhesive and a necessary part 29 is welded by supersonic waves. A filling 31 is filled in a gap 30 to be formed between the butted end faces 25a and 28a of the divided parts 24a and 24b, smoothed and the surface is painted afterward so that the connecting part does not separate through a paint film. The gap and a stepped part are reduced as mentioned above.
