Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To reduce the wear of a cutting edge without any additive like a lubrication oil remaining on a work and to improve the life drastically by slitting a plastic by this cutting edge by permeating a volatile liquid of high permeability into the cutting edge. CONSTITUTION:A volatile liquid(e.g. ethanol) of high permeability is permeated into a cutting edge. By this edge, a plastic insulating body of a cable of subjected to slitting in continuation. In this case, due to the liquid permeated to the cutting edge being volatile, an additive does not remain on the cable and the friction at working time is reduced and the friction heat thereof is effectively absorbed. Consequently, the life of the cutting edge can drastically be extended.
