NOVEL METHOD FOR MEASURING BOND OF RECEPTOR

PURPOSE:To facilitate the sepn. operation of a receptor-bonded ligand and free ligand and to improve the reliability thereof by bringing a sample contg. the solubilized receptor into contact with an insoluble substrate to immobilize the receptor in a solid phase to the substrate and bringing the labeled ligand bonding specifically with the receptor into contact with such substrate. CONSTITUTION:The sample contg. the solubilized receptor is first brought into contact with the chemically active and insoluble substrate to immobilize the receptor in the solid phase to the substrate. The labeled ligand bonding specifically to the receptor is then brought into contact with the substrate. The free ligand which does not bond to the receptor is removed in succession thereto. The receptor-bonded ligand and the free ligand are thereby easily separated. Namely, since the receptor is immobilized in the solid phase to the substrate which is a solid phase, the receptor-bonded ligand and the free ligand are nearly completely separated by the simple operation of bringing the sample contg. the receptor and the ligand into reaction, then gently cleaning the surface of the substrate.
