Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which has high safety to human bodies, high solubility in water and powerful antibacterial activity, by allowing a rifamycin derivative to react with potassium or sodium tetra- or hexa- chloroplatinate under alkaline conditions. CONSTITUTION:(A) A rifamycin derivative is allowed to react with (B) potassium or sodium tetra-or hexa-chloroplatinate under alkaline conditions. The component A is represented by the formula [R1 is hydroxyl, oxo; R2 is N-(4-methyl-1- piperazinyl)formylimidoyl; R3 is hydroxyl, carboxymethyloxy; where in case of R1=O, R3=O; in case of R1=R3=O, the bond between the 2 and the 3- positions is double, the bonds between the 1- and 2-positions and the 3- and 4-positions are single, otherwise the 1-2 and the 2-3 bonds are double and the 2-3 bond is single], and rifapentine is preferably employed. |
