SCINTILLATION CAMERA

PURPOSE:To shorten the length of an arm on the side of a counter weight and to reduce the size of the whole camera by fitting the counter weight through a link. CONSTITUTION:A radiation detector 11 is fitted rotatably on one end 17 of the arm 12 and the counter weight 13 is fitted on the other end 21 of the arm 12. The fulcrum 14 of the arm 12 is supported by a rotatably ring member 15, so the distance H between the detector 11 and a center axis A of swivel is freely set. The weight 13 is fitted on one end 23 of the link 16 coupled with the other end 21 of the arm 12. The other end 27 of the link is coupled with a guide member 17 provided to the link member 15. Then when a.d + b.c and the weight W1 of the detector 11 is equalized to the weight W2 of the weight 13, the arm 12 is balanced at any position. Thus, the link is used to shorten the balanced at any position. Thus, the link is used to shorten the arm length of the weight side and the camera is reduced in the size on the whole.
