Zusammenfassung:	New homoserine derivatives corresponding to the formula I with valuable microbicidal and in particular plant-fungicidal properties. The definitions of the symbols are given in Claim 1. These homoserine derivatives are prepared by alkaline ring-opening of (thio)lactones of the formula II in which X represents oxygen or sulphur, protonation of the resulting salt, and introduction of one of the substituents mentioned in Claim 1 for R3 or B.
